Corus Consulting was commissioned to determine the feasibility of
an organic coating project in Saudi Arabia. The study included an
appraisal of the market for throughout the GCC region; the selection
of a suitable site for the plant; a detailed technical assessment,
and evaluation of financial viability. As a result of the study,
an 80,000 tonnes/year facility was built.

on behalf of a potential investor. The study was required in anticipation
of expressing interest in the role of strategic investor with respect

Corus Consulting was commissioned to determine the feasibility of
setting up a new tinplate project. The study included an appraisal
of the market for throughout the GCC region; the selection of a
suitable site for the plant; a detailed technical assessment, and

Comprehensive study of steel markets in Asia-Pacific region on behalf
of the Western Australian Government. This was part of an assessment
of the potential viability of a greenfield steel project, based
upon indigenous resources of iron ore.
Feasibility

Geological investigations and analyses were carried out and then
the most suitable process route was identified to produce a concentrate,
in pellet form, suitable for use in direct reduction ironmaking.
The project involved construction of a pilot beneficiation plant
at the mine site and extensive programmes of testwork at research
centres around the world. Full feasibility studies were completed,
including unique process design parameters for commercial operations.
