Corus Consulting is independent of plant suppliers and its advice is often based on maximising the performance of existing facilities. New plant and equipment is recommended only when appropriate.

Consultants are available to travel to clients anywhere in the world to assess the requirements of the client and propose a plan and method to meet those requirements.

Assistance and support can be in many forms, which could include:

• Benchmarking of current plant condition, operation maintenance practice and performance
• Production and implementation of performance improvement programmes aimed at increasing throughput, yield, availability and hence profit
• The use of Corus Technical and Research and Development Departments in the solution to specific technical issues
• Appraisal of, and recommendations for, the improvement of existing maintenance systems and practices
• Where appropriate, technical assistance can be enhanced by the Training Services Group, which can help provide the trained workforce necessary to give sustained competitive advantage.
