The information systems of organizations are composed of a large number of heterogeneous solutions that need to be integrated into a coherent and manageable model that serves the business, now and in the future.

All systems, their responsibilities and interconnections must be fully documented, facilitating the identification of risks before any intervention or change.

Security

All the elements of the architecture, each one of the systems and the communications between them must take into account information security for their design, implementation and deployment.

Flexibility

The goal should always be to allow maximum flexibility in the evolution of each of the systems independently, the incorporation of new systems, and to facilitate the retirement of obsolete systems.
